After receiving an honorable mention in the year book, he is able to get that confidence that he needed and continues to write. He is able to cope with his home life and eventually recognizes that his parents will not get back together. I enjoyed reading this book. It teaches you to be determined no matter what happens in your life. This book is great for any reader who admires another writer and wants to know how writers gets started on writing.
