George always knew that she felt different. Her body said she was a boy, but she always felt like a girl. She struggled with how to tell her mother about how she felt and at school she wanted everyone to know. Her best friend, Kelly was the only person that she confided in. Kelly supported her friend and even help her play the part of Charlotte in the play, and that gave George the confidence to tell her mother and everyone else about how she felt. Her best friend even helped her become what she always wanted a girl.
