Frogs
Bishop, N. (2008). Frogs. NY: Scholastic Press
Nic Bishop explores the wonderful life of frogs. He teaches that frogs are everywhere except Antarctica. Frogs are found near water most of the time. They need to stay moist. Even frogs that live in the desert like the Spadefoot Toad, it needs to stay moist and it does that by burrowing itself underground. Frogs are amazing animals because they start their life in water and are able to live outside of the water too. Some frogs have different types of protections against predators by either becoming large or having poison. Frogs also care for their young. Like the Strawberry dart poison frog.
